What is a flag?

A flag is usually used to identify a group of people, an organization, a nation or a state. For a country, the flag is an important symbol of pride and independence. Some are simple and some are slightly complex but they all have meanings.

A flag is composed of very very basic elements. It combines simple shapes in varying propositions and given combination forms the flag’s singular identity.
Simplicity is indispensable, so the flag can be easy to recognize even from a great distance.

A flag is a visual representation of an idea or concept.
It embodies value, beliefs, and commitments.

With this  project, the students were practicing how to translate concepts into a visual effective
language - color, forms, and their combinations.
