CASA C - Via Cesare Battisti Torino - Apartment renovation

An apartment of about 150 sqm for a family with 2 young kids, placed in a building of the early eighteenth century in the heart of the city center in Turin, just across the street from of of the most beautiful square in town, Piazza Carignano, and facing Palazzo Carignano, historical building 1679 by Guarini. The main feature of the apartment was the high and vaulted ceiling which allowed to build livable mezzanine in all the rooms.
The mezzanine became the main element and we decided to give to the metallic stairscase a strong aesthetic impact.
