How to manipulate, mold and texture the metals (copper to practice and create the prototypes and silver for the final jewelry) and how metals can be combined with other materials as wood, plastic, acrylic, paper fabric in order to create unique pieces.

During the semester the students were becoming confident in cutting and piercing sheet metal with a jeweler saw, forming and forging using hammers and stakes and soldering with acetylene torches.
